Bentham hosts a Great Big Green Day!

Make a note in your diary – Saturday 25th September 2021 – the Bentham Playing Fields are the place to be!

Join our community event between 10am & 2pm for lots of great ideas, crafts, information & advice on supporting biodiversity, helping bees & pollinators, growing your own food, being hedgehog friendly & identifying moths. There will also be a range of local businesses with lots of great products to look at & buy, & a team from Warm & Well North Yorkshire to advise on managing energy bills & insulation.

There are several specialist activities too:

Allotment tours / Gardeners’ Question Time

Green bookstall / read & share

Later on there will be Moths & Bats Revealed!
